FIRST PHASE: Study and research of materials
In the first phase Piera focuses on the study and research of materials and the right and necessary accessories for future creations. He informs himself about new technologies and innovations in supply chains by participating in trade fairs, reading specialized magazines, and visiting museums to get a clear idea of the line to take.
She then finds inspiration in nature and the environment that surrounds her.
SECOND PHASE: The idea to be outlined
Having found the most suitable material, he begins to outline the sketches. From here a line is born. The line will be looked at carefully, evaluating shapes, features, colors and stitching.
THIRD PHASE: The realization of the project
The most important and most demanding technical phase. Piera designs the paper pattern based on the small customer's measurements, evaluating the proportions for a perfect fit.
He then calculates the data as a percentage of the anthropometric measurement, and on a sheet of paper or light cardboard begins to construct by hand with a square and pencil the lines that make up the model, following the Cartesian x/y axes.
FOURTH PHASE: Testing the prototype
This is the fabric testing phase. It is very important to mark all the pieces that make up the model on a material similar to the original to verify the proportions. The actual fit depends on the thickness of the fabric.
FIFTH PHASE: Assembly
After having verified that the fit is optimal, that it can guarantee the best well-being for the little 4-legged customer, Piera proceeds with the assembly of the cut pieces, packaging them with her sewing machines, and embroidering some parts by hand.
SIXTH PHASE: Control
Finally Piera checks all the phases that they are correct and arranged in the right way, then carries out the process again in the same procedure but with the original fabric.
SEVEN PHASE: the finished garment
We are at the end of the process, and this is the most beautiful phase where the garment is finally constructed! Now, it can be seen in a plan made up of all its parts, and with the perfect fit to the trusty body.
